FLY ON THE WINDOW

During the "Fly on the Window" anteprima/sneak peek, spectators could observe two performances from the 20 m long show window of Schau Fenster Gallery.
A blind-folded Helena Hamilton (Northern Ireland) painted her train-of-thought directly onto the wall of the gallery throughout this 5 hour durational performance, "NOTETOADISTANTGOD." Please click on the image below to see an edited video of this performance.
Alessia Armeni (Italy) was constantly present at Schau Fenster from midnight of April 18 until midnight of April 19, a continuous painting performance investigating time and light entitled, "24-Hour Painting."

Sing Sweet Songs of Conviction opened in Berlin on April 20th 2012. Accompanying the exhibition, guest artist Jennifer Hope Davy presented the performance "Onward", a 19th century hymn revisted by Cradle of Filth sung a capella.
